Do you want to get paid for your writing, but lack the education or experience to land a paying writing job?
The Digital Nomad Writing Club is looking for freelance writers to add to our roster -- and we don't even want to see your CV.
Yes, you read that right. It is our belief that expensive degrees and qualifications are a thing of the past, and that these days, it's entirely possible to learn all the skills you need to know from the online world -- at a fraction of what you paid before.
If you're interested, please apply via this Google Form, which contains a series of easy-to-answer questions, and asks for three writing samples (published or unpublished). If we like what we see from you, we'll ask you to do a test article. If the test article meets our standards, we'll add you to our freelancer roster and you'll be offered paid writing jobs on a regular basis.
What are we looking for? We're on the hunt for freelancers who:
Are passionate about writing
Can absorb important details from content briefs and translate them to articles
Are dependable and take deadlines seriously
Can work online in a remote environment
How many articles will you be asked to write?
It depends. Some weeks it could be four or five a week, other weeks, maybe just one, some none. It will depend on our client content needs, as well as our student capacity. We do our best to be fair in the article distribution, so that all our freelancers get an even load.
What's the pay like?
It varies per article, depending on the complexity, ranging from $15 - $60 a pop.
Our inclusivity promise
The Digital Nomad Writing Club is a safe space for people from all backgrounds. Whether you're LGBTQ+, a POC, live with a disability, or what have you, you can feel confident that your application will be treated with the same respect and courtesy that we treat all applications.
We currently have openings to add three more freelance writers to our roster. Any other qualified applicants may be contacted about the opportunity to convert their application into one for our internship programme. The next semester begins August 2, 2021.
What other benefits do you offer?
We invite our freelance writers to take part in our Digital Nomad Writing Club community. Freelancers are welcome to:
Detailed feedback on your assignments so that you can improve as you go
